At least 99.9% uptime is planned. Short-term maintenance or repairs are announced in advance and carried out outside peak times wherever possible.

Can I use my own domains?
Yes, your own domains can be integrated or provided via VELUNO (price on request).
How can I install my website?
Via the integrated 1-click installer for CMS and frameworks or manually via FTP/SFTP. Optionally, we can take over the setup for an additional charge.
Is there SSH or FTP access?
Yes, every account has FTP/SFTP access. There is no root access, as this is a managed platform.
How fast are the loading times?
Thanks to NVMe SSDs, optimized server configuration and a 1 Gbps connection, loading times are very short and stable.
Can I operate several websites?
Yes, several websites, e-mail inboxes and databases can be operated within the booked storage space.
How is my website secured?
With SSL, Imunify security, firewall protection and automatic malware scan. We also recommend regular backups.
Who is responsible for the content?
Each customer is responsible for their own content, licenses, data backup and legal compliance (e.g. GDPR, copyright).
Does VELUNO make backups?
We back up the server regularly, but strongly recommend that you make your own copies of important data and save them offline.
What happens in the event of maintenance or faults?
Planned maintenance will be announced in good time. Repairs or updates may lead to interruptions at short notice.
Can I set up e-mails?
Yes, you can create as many mailboxes as you like within your storage package - including webmail (Roundcube) and spam filter.
Which mail protocols are supported?
IMAP, POP3 and SMTP with SSL/TLS encryption. Mail access is possible from any device.
Can I take over existing e-mails?
Yes, via IMAP-Sync or optionally via our migration service (time and effort will be charged individually).
How do I set up my domain or DNS?
Directly via the hosting panel. DNS entries, subdomains and redirects are freely configurable.
How do I manage my data?
Via the file manager in the panel or via FTP. Databases are managed via phpMyAdmin or CLI.
Are there traffic or database limits?
No, there are no artificial limits. Only the total memory of the booked package is relevant.
How do I get support?
By e-mail or contact form. Support is included - additional technical services or set-up work are available at an extra charge.
Can VELUNO set up complete websites?
Yes, we can take care of the setup, migration or system configuration on request - for a fee, depending on the work involved.
How does billing work?
Monthly via Stripe (credit card, direct debit). Annual billing with discount also possible on request.
Are there minimum terms?
No, the packages can be canceled monthly - fair and transparent.
How can I cancel or upgrade?
Via your customer account or by contacting us. Upgrades are possible at any time, downgrades at the next billing period.
Can I book additional storage?
Yes, from the package Web20 additional storage can be booked in 10 GB increments (€9.99/month per 10 GB).
